Marion County deputies said a Marine veteran was shot after he withdrew money from an ATM early Sunday morning.
Deputies said they were called to the Wells Fargo at 9268 Southeast Maricamp Road around 6:05 a.m., Sunday, about a shooting.
The victim, Mike Prevatte told deputies he had just made a withdrawal from the ATM and as he was getting into his car, a male with a handgun approached.
Prevatte said he tried to drive away but the man fired multiple shots into his car, hitting him twice, deputies said.
Prevatte was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released.
Deputies said they are looking for a black male, 18 to 20-years-old, 5 ft. 10 in., 130 lbs, wearing a black or dark gray hoodie and denim pants.
