LEESBURG, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35)
Leesburg police said they are looking for a driver of a car that hit and killed a woman on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, Saturday night.
Police said they were called to the area of U.S. Highway 27 and Tally Road around 9:34 p.m., Saturday about an accident involving a car and motorcycle rider.
When police arrived, they said they saw the crash that involved a silver Saturn wagon and a Harley-Davidson that was riden by 54-year-old Lori Dudley, Holly Hill.
Police said Dudley was taken to Leesburg Regional Medical Center where she died.
Two men fled from the car after the accident, but police said they were able to capture one. The driver got away, police said.
Police said they are looking for an Hispanic male who was wearing a red shirt at the time of the accident.
The road was shut down for almost four hours, but re-opened early Sunday morning.
