ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The winter storm that is blanketing most of the northeast is effecting travel in and out of Orlando, Saturday.
As of Saturday morning there were at least 85 flight cancelations out of Orlando International Airport with more expected throughout the day.
The storm stretched across Kentucky, all the way to New Jersey and has shut down highways and is expected to dump as much as two feet of snow or more in some areas.
The National Weather Service's website says blizzard warnings remained in effect Saturday for eastern and coastal portions of the mid-Atlantic, from mountain areas in Virginia to Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York City and Long Island, New York.
Amtrak said its trains are operating on a modified schedule over the weekend.
The Autotrain which runs from Virginia to Sanford will not be operating Saturday or Sunday.
Travel officials said to check ahead on flights or trains before traveling to the northeast this weekend.
