Seminole County deputies are investigating the shooting death of a 15-year-old in Altamonte Springs.
Deputies said they were called out to the area of Central Street in Altamonte Springs for a shooting around 3:30 p.m., Friday.
When deputies arrived, they said they found 15-year-old Tamar Harris injured from a gunshot wound next to a car.
Deputies said Harries was in a car that was headed north on Central Street when a person with a gun, standing in the road, fired several shots at the car. That car crashed into a light pole.
Harris was taken to the hospital, where he later died, officials said.
The shooter was not found and deputies are asking anyone with information to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
