Two men are behind bars after police say they went on a wild crime spree that involved a robbery, assault and carjacking.

Nathaniel Woods and John Powell were in the Orange County Jail Wednesday morning.  According to police it all started Sunday night when the duo robbed a tourist at an outlet mall outside the Orlando premium outlets on I-Drive. Police say the two shoved the victim down because he did not speak English and then stole his cell phone and backpack.

According to police, 10 minutes later the two pistol whipped an Uber driver.  Later that night Belle Isle Police say they spotted them driving in a car that was involved in a carjacking.  Investigators say the two led police on a chase until they crashed in Orlando.

Police say items that belonged to the tourist were found inside the car and believe the duo may be connected to other recent robberies.
