FDLE investigating officer involved shooting

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating a shooting involving two Orlando police officers early Sunday morning.
Police said around 2:07 a.m., Sunday,  a 911 call came in from a witness who saw a man walking up and down Orange Blossom Trail near Carter Street carrying a Chrome gun.
The first officer on scene saw the man and had him at gunpoint when he called for back up, officials said.
Other officers arrived and commanded the man to put his weapon down.  Officers said the man refused and raised the gun in the air.
Two of the officers fired their gun hitting the man.  Police said he was taken to the hospital where he died.
FDLE has taken over the investigation and the officers involved have been placed on paid administrative leave.
Police said they are not releasing any further information.
