13 arrested in online predator sting

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Volusia County Sheriff's Office has arrested 13 men accused of exchanging sexually explicit messages with officers they believed were juveniles.  Undercover agents set up meetings with the men, where deputies moved in to take them into custody.

The defendants used social media sites, emails and text messages to arrange sexual encounters with the agents, who posed online as children, 14 years old or younger.   Investigators said some of the men brought drugs and condoms.
