NAACP official finds Confederate flag in yard

- A Confederate flag was left in the yard of a Florida woman, and she thinks it was meant to intimidate her.

Eveylyn Foxx is the president of the Alachua County branch of the NAACP.  She was meeting up with a friend, when the two women spotted the flag crumpled up in her yard.

"From speaking with our state NAACP, they're saying that's the new cross. The KKK don't burn crosses on peoples' lawns anymore, they leave Confederate flags, which is really, really scary," Foxx said.

She said she thinks she was targeted, because of her position with the NAACP, and because of what she described as the increased racial tension in Alachua County over the past year.
