Man arrested for burning American flags near church

SUMMERFIELD, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A Marion County man was arrested for burning two American flags outside a Summerfiled church. 
The church's pastor said the entire act was captured on outside surveillance cameras. 

The burning took place the Sunday before veterans day. Church staff came outside before the service to find the two flags charred and only the wooden stick remaining. 
Pastor Jim Keough said displaying American flags is a huge part of the lives of his congregation, which showcases a memorial to veterans out front.
Pastor Jim says they’ll be adding more security cameras outside the Church, but they won’t stop putting out their flags.
