Toddler shot inside St. Cloud home

ST. CLOUD, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Osceola County Sheriffs Office is investigating the shooting of 2-year-old boy inside a St. Cloud home.  It happened just after 6 p.m. on Monday.  A family member called 911 to report the shooting and the child was transported by helicopter to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in critical condition.

Authorities did not release the circumstances surrounding the shooting.  "They're talking to individuals who were at the residence and possibly near the residence," said Twis Lizasuain with the Sheriff's Office,  "and we have forensics out gathering evidence."

Authorities say there is no threat to the public, and deputies are not looking for any suspects
