Windermere police seek help identifying women in photos

The Windermere police chief is asking for the public's help in identifying women pictured in images released by the police department on Tuesday.

Chief David Ogden says he is concerned for the safety of several women seen in the photographs, many who have their eyes closed.  There are also images of tattoos that could help to identify the women.  "We are interested in finding out who they are," Chief Ogden said.  "We need to speak to them. We need to check on their well-being."

Chief Ogden said, "the women appear to be sleeping or unconscious, so because of that, we’re concerned about that and we want to make sure that they’re okay. That’s the most important thing to us right now."

When asked how the police department came into possession of the images, Chief Ogden said, "The pictures came from some video that we have in our custody."  He added, "They’re part of an ongoing investigation."

The images can viewed on Windermere Chief David Ogden's Facebook page, by clicking here.  Anyone with information regarding the identity of any of these women should contact Detective John Allen of the Windermere Police Department  by calling 407-876-3757, or by emailing jallen@town.windermere.fl.us.
