PALM BAY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 News) -

The family of missing woman Marsharie Lemons-Garrett will host a news conference at 1:30 p.m.  to request public assistance in ongoing search efforts.

Lemons-Garrett, 22, was last seen one week ago by her mother at home at 2151 Oaklyn St.  Lemons-Garrett was wearing purple Winnie the Pooh pajamas.  She is 5 fee, 8 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, and has short braided black hair.

Socks and shoes belonging to the woman were found in a wooded area near her home, but there are no immediate indications of foul play.  Detectives have conducted several aerial searches over the area and multiple ground searches using police tracking dogs did not yield any results.

"We are using every available resource and following every lead," said Sgt. Ken Arnold.

This is a developing story. FOX 35 has a crew present at today's news conference.  We will have details during FOX 35 News at 5 p.m.

Anyone with information should contact the Central Florida CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).
