Three men were arrested after a fight broke out at the Osceola County Courthouse on Monday.
James Parker, 52, James Kun, 44, and Jeremy Milyon, 23, became involved in a verbal dispute which led to a physical altercation, following a "stand your ground" hearing.
The hearing centered around the first-degree murder case of a St. Cloud man, Jayson Clair, charged with gunning down two brothers outside a bar.
Shortly after a motion hearing ended, around 9:40 a.m., family members and friends for both the victim and defendant were leaving Judge Jon Morgan's courtroom.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that a detective who investigated the case was knocked to the floor, and several others were injured.
Court deputies, with the assistance of a St. Cloud police officer who was attending the hearing, intervened and all three men were taken into custody.
Parker and Kun were arrested and taken to the Osceola County Jail. Milyon was taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center and was medically cleared before he was arrested and transported to the jail.
The sheriff's office reports that three men were charged with a misdemeanor count of affray.
Authorities say Clair fatally shot the unarmed Kun brother outside a St. Cloud bar in June 2011 after they beat him several times during the evening. Clair claims he acted in self-defense.
