Orange County sheriff's deputies are on the lookout for two women who burglarized a home in Windermere.
The victim, 65-year-old Sandy Waters, had just returned from a vacation, only to find the garage door unlocked, her bedroom lights on and all of her jewelry missing.
Waters lost husband Earl in March. All of the jewelry stolen was given to her husband during their 30 years of marriage. She told us, "Monetarily, they took stuff for them, but for me, they took memories from my husband."
Neighbors said they saw two strange women in the neighborhood. What makes this story so bizarre, is that one of the women as described as well dressed, driving a nice car and the other was pregnant.
"I thought that was a very smart, sophisticated way to approach people. You see two well dressed ladies, and one appears to be pregnant in a nice car… your not afraid and not suspicious," said Waters.
She is hoping that deputies will soon find the pair before the strike again, and she wants her memories back.
Deputies have not put out a sketch of the women, but they are asking that if anyone saw these women in the Windermere area, to call Crimeline at 1-800- 423-TIPS (8477).
