DELTONA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

A stand-off in Deltona sparked by a domestic quarrel Monday afternoon has ended with the peaceful surrender of the defendant.

The confrontation started shortly before 2 p.m., when a woman flagged down a passing deputy and reported that her boyfriend had put a loaded gun to her head. The woman said she was able to escape from a home where the suspect, 38-year-old David Bolt, had locked himself inside.

During the first two hours of the standoff, Bolt came out of the house and then went back in a couple of times.  Deputies said he was yelling things and throwing articles of clothing out the door.

At about 4:35 p.m., Bolt came out for the last time to surrender to deputies. He is facing criminal charges of aggravated assault, felony battery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
