A University of Florida law school graduate is charged with first-degree murder in the strangulation death of his girlfriend.

Jason Bohn, 33, was arrested on Friday and charged with murder and tampering with evidence in the death of 27-year-old Danielle Thomas.  Her body was found in a bathtub filled with bags of ice in Astoria, a neighborhood in Queens, New York, early last week.

The discovery came after Bohn called police to report an accident at the apartment.  An autopsy found that Thomas had been choked and beaten.
