Posted: Updated:

A refrigerant leak at Universal Orlando resulted in the evacuation and temporary closure of a restaurant at one of the attraction's theme parks.

A gas leak was reported around 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Captain America Diner at Islands of Adventure.  Orlando firefighters responded and determined the leak to be a coolant.

Nine people received medical treatment, but there were no life-threatening injuries.  The restaurant was closed for the remainder of the day.
