Posted: Updated:

Orange County sheriff's deputies arrested a woman accused of making a bomb threat at a bank.

The incident happened on Wednesday morning at a Wells Fargo branch, located at 3900 Silver Star Rd.  Bank staff told deputies that a woman was attempting to acquire a new debit card with an expired identification.  When the bank manager refused to issue a new card without the proper ID, investigators said the woman threatened to "blow up the bank."

The woman left in a white Chevrolet conversion van to head to another Wells Fargo Bank located at 6306 W Colonial Dr. where deputies conducted a traffic stop.

The woman was identified as Tracy Marie Herberger, 46, of Brevard, North Carolina.  She was arrested and charged with making a bomb threat in the second degree, which is a felony.
