SANFORD, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
The Seminole County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) on Monday arrested Roberto Geiersbach, 18, of Altamonte Springs, on two counts of sexual assault on victims under 12 years old.
Sheriff's investigators were contacted on Aug. 25 after the victims disclosed that they were inappropriately touched at their in home daycare by Geiersbach, who is the son of the owner. The sexual abuse was substantiated following interviews with the victims by SCSO's Crimes Against Children investigators and a medical examination conducted at the Kid's House of Seminole. Investigators identified and interviewed all children currently enrolled at the center, with no additional disclosures of sexual abuse.
Investigators contacted the Department of Children and Families and they are addressing the operating status of the daycare.
Geiersbach is currently held on no bond status.
