Third victim in VFW shooting dies

WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

A third victim in a shooting at a Veterans of Foreign War post in central Florida has died.

David Jakiela on Tuesday succumbed to injuries sustained during the shooting over the weekend.  Also killed in the gunfire were Harold Liddle and Peter Schlette.

The incident happened Sunday morning as a motorcycle club prepared for a charity ride in Winter Springs.

Police have arrested four men, 41-year-old Victor Amaro, 38-year-old Robert Eckert, 52-year-old David Maloney and 47-year-old Paul Smith, charging each with three counts of homicide

Police have not said whether the men arrested or the shooting victims were VFW members or a part of the motorcycle club, known as the Warlocks.

Police confiscated several weapons but have offered few details about what started the fight or how the shooting unfolded.
