DEBARY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
There is something strange popping up in one Central Florida neighborhood, and it has a strong connection to Clint Eastwood.
Right now, empty chairs are out in yards all around one DeBary neighborhood. It's all in protest of the fact that the Home Owners Association (HOA) won't let the residents display political signs. So, in an effort to support the candidate of their choice, residents are leaving chairs in their lawn.
Why the empty chair you ask? It's all because of the monologue Clint Eastwood performed at the Republican National Convention. You remember the skit, in which he was addressing an empty chair, as a way to symbolically criticize the president? Mr. Eastwood is a Mitt Romney supporter, and it looks like a lot of the residents in this one DeBary neighborhood are too.
