Orange County investigators have named two persons of interest in the investigation into a murder which happened two months ago at the China Wok restaurant off Pine Hills Road.
Deputies want to question 22-year-old Raymond Barnes Jr. and 21-year-old Calvin Washington, described as persons of interest and not suspects.
Investigators on Monday released surveillance pictures of the fatal robbery. Ying Jie Sun, 53, spoke mainly Mandarin Chinese. Deputies believe the robber shot her, because she didn't understand what he wanted.
"Someone came in and shot her in cold blood and got away with it, and we want to catch that individual," said Jane Watrel of the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
"It could have been any of us, and me working here, it could have been me," said Bill Trotter who works at another nearby restaurant and knew the victim. "She was very sweet."They describe the gunman as a man standing around 5 feet, 10 inches, with a thin build. He was wearing a black hat, short sleeved gray shirt with stripes and a black mask.
Trotter said he is pleased that deputies are still working hard on the case, "getting people out there to get the answers they need."
A reward up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).
