SEFFNER, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
A church charter bus traveling east on Interstate 4 ran into a wall late Monday morning, causing lane closures and major delays in Hillsborough County. The incident happened around 11 a.m. in Seffner, near mile marker 13.
Florida Highway Patrol officials said it appears the driver had some sort of medical issue, which led to the crash. After the collision, the bus caught fire, and all eastbound lanes were blocked for over two hours while traffic was diverted off the interstate.
The condition of the driver is unknown. No one else was on board.
