DELTONA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

Jackie Labonte woke from a deep sleep Wednesday morning at the Deltona home she shares with her boyfriend.

"I heard a big noise that made me peek out the bedroom door, and I noticed right away the TV was missing," she said.

She looked around, didn't see anyone, then went back into the bedroom and looked out the window.

"I noticed the car was still parked out front. I kind of freaked out, not knowing if they are going to come back inside or not. They stayed outside.  By the time I was on phone with 911, they had driven away."

Deputies said LaBonte got a good description of the getaway car.  Minutes later, a deputy spotted the car at Main street and Enterprise, with a television hanging out the back of the open trunk.

Deputies said luck was not on driver's side.  They said he took a curve too fast, and he ran into a huge oak tree.  The man driving the car has been identified as Anthony Defalco.

A FOX 35 news crew was there as paramedics showed up to put a neck brace on a bloody Defalco before taking him to the hospital.

Deputies said the TV was destroyed, but they were able to recover two stolen guns and a gaming system which was taken from LaBonte and Jones.

Defalco has a criminal history involving drugs, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.
