Multiple car crash closes lanes on Kirkman Rd. in Orlando

A number of people were involved in a multiple-car crash on Kirkman Rd. near L.B. McLeod in Orlando shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday. 

Eight patients were transported to area hospitals for medical treatment.  Northbound traffic on Kirkman Rd. was reduced to one lane for over an hour while officials cleared the wreckage.

None of the injuries were considered life-threatening.
