Publix Supermarkets is recalling several brands of bagels sold at its stores due to possible metal fragments, the company announced Wednesday.
Publix says the bagels may contain fragments of metal caused by a faulty manufacturing part.
The bagel products include several varieties of Sara Lee, Weight Watchers, Thomas and Publix brands with "Best Buy" dates of Jan. 18 to and including Jan. 27 printed on the bag tab.
BBU, Inc., the parent company of Bimbo Bakeries, manufactured the bagels.
