Woman without home ever since plane crashed through roof

A woman has been left without her home ever since a plane crashed through the roof earlier this month.

A preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board indicates that the pilot who crashed a Beechcraft H35 into a house two weeks ago was rerouted to nearby Flagler Airport after reporting zero oil pressure the tower.  He didn't make it and all four onboard were killed in the crash.

Susan Crockett, the woman inside her home at the time, said her life hasn't been the same since.  "I woke up that morning with a house and clothes to wear, and by that afternoon, I had nothing.  I'm not sleeping, nervous stomach.  It's a long road, it's going to take a while to get to some sort of normalcy."

Crockett and her attorney, Marc Dwyer, spoke with FOX 35 after the NTSB released their report.  Although no definitive cause for the accident was given, her attorney's law firm is conducting an independent investigation into the cause of the crash, because of what he calls "many unanswered questions."

"The pilot indicated that the wings were vibrating. We don't know what that's caused from, conditions, or whether it's caused from something that's connected to the oil in the engine. We don't know if it's proper protocol that if a engine is out of oil that someone would direct it to an airfield that it couldn't make it to," he said.  "These are just an example of the many things that have to be answered, and so it's premature to discuss whether there will be a lawsuit or not."

As for Crocket, her house was insured, but her attorney questions whether she can clinically live near an airport again.  she's said she hasn't gone back to work since the crash, and she is still living out of suitcase.
