Florida AG Pam Bondi in Orlando today to discuss foreclosure relief

Posted: Updated:

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was in Orlando on Friday to talk about how struggling homeowners could be eligible for money.

Bondi met with Mayor Buddy Dyer to discuss the National Mortgage Settlement, which will make $170 million available for Floridians whose homes were foreclosed on between 2008-11.

The deadline to apply for mortgage help is February 15.

Bondi also made a stop in Marion County to discuss a crackdown on synthetic drugs. Until recently, products such as "bath salts" and "K-2" were legal and sold in stores.

Many say the drugs are dangerous, causing side-effects such as anxiety attacks and psychotic episodes. A statewide ban was rolled out in December.
