Nestle recalls some Lean Cuisine ravioli dishes

Posted: Updated:

Nestle prepared foods has voluntarily recalled two production codes of Lean Cuisine Culinary Connection Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli.

The recall was initiated as the meal may contain fragments of glass.

It was produced during early November 2012.

Due to its popularity, the company believes very little remains in retail distribution.

For this reason, Nestle is reaching out to consumers, asking them to examine their freezers for these specific packages: UPC code of 13800-5838; production codes 2311587812 and 2312587812, with a "best before date" of December 2013.

Consumers who may have purchased this item should not consume the product.

Instead, they should contact Nestle Consumer Services at 1-866-586-9424 or e-mail for further instructions.
