DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
The Daytona Beach Police Department, in partnership with the Circuit 7 State Attorney's Office, held a news conference on Thursday regarding what they are calling "Operation Shake 'n Bake."
In January 2012, the Daytona Beach Police Department Special Investigations Unit initiated an investigation that focused on methamphetamines dealers and manufacturers operating within the city of Daytona Beach.
During the course of the operation, more than two dozen people were people were investigated and charged with various narcotic charges.
The State Attorney's Office Narcotic Division has been instrumental in prosecuting these cases.
