Wanted felon arrested in Kingman

KINGMAN, Ariz. -

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested a wanted felon in the 2300 block of Highway 66 on Monday.

Deputies say they found out where 39-year-old Tiffany Michelle Parkins would be and took her into custody.

Deputies asked Parkins if she had any drugs on her and she told them no. They later found marijuana and three pills on her. They say she is a known drug user.

Parkins was booked into jail and faces felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, promoting prison contraband and a parole violation issued out of Arizona Department of Corrections. She faces a misdemeanor charge for failure to pay fines issued by Kingman Justice Court.
