Surveillance video captured a bar brawl in Prescott, with officers and deputies in the middle of the melee.

But they weren't there breaking up the fight -- they're under investigation for possibly starting it.

We're taking our first look at video of a bar fight involving Arizona law enforcement officers. The Prescott Daily Courier obtained the video from the Department of Public Safety.

It shows a member of the Iron Brotherhood, a motorcycle group made up of active and retired officers, punching a 23-year-old Glendale man at Moctezuma's Bar.

Other off-duty officers in motorcycle vests jumped in, pushing people out of the way and swinging at bar employees.

It's believed some of the officers caught in the video were part of the Prescott Valley Police Department. Some high-ranking law enforcement officers, including a police chief, were allegedly with the group the night of the fight.

The owner of one bar where the group was drinking at earlier in the night said they were rowdy and 90 percent of them had been cut off from alcohol.

Despite the allegations in the report, some residents seem to support the chief and the department.

"I think they're trying to run him through the mill, they're trying to make him sound like a bad guy, but he isn't. We all have pretty good faith in our police force," said resident Carol Coates.

The investigation is ongoing and no one has been suspended as a result.
