PHOENIX -
About 150 employers are learning the best practices for hiring and keeping veterans, service members and their families in the workforce at a military and veteran employer summit on Friday.
The Arizona National Guard, Arizona Department of Veterans' Services and Arizona Coalition for Military Families got together to put on the event.
The groups hope to show employers how it can be difficult for military members to assimilate back into civilian life.
Employers will not only learn the value of military-affiliated employees, but they'll also be connected to those who are looking for a job.
FOX 10's Syleste Rodriguez reports.
