Wanted man arrested after allegedly running from deputies

FORT MOHAVE, Ariz. -

Deputies say a wanted 30-year-old man ran away from them when they tried to arrest him on Thursday night.

Matthew Michael Herndon was wanted by the Bullhead City Justice Court for criminal trespassing and two counts of aggravated assault.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies got a tip that Herndon was at a home in the 1600 block of Segovia Way.                                                            

When they arrived, they saw a man matching Herndon's description running away from the home.

Deputies followed the man and ordered him to stop, which he did.

Herndon was taken into custody and arrested for his previous felony charges and a misdemeanor charge for resisting arrest.
