Storm recovery efforts continue in Brevard County, whereheavy wind and rain did as much damage there, as was experienced in the Orlando area.
Melbourne radio station WMEL was knocked off air during thepeak of the storm. The building and thetransmitter received about $100,000 worth of damage, owners say.
The storm, which brought heavy rain and hail, also produced70-80 mile per hour straight-line winds in some places.
Despiteall the rain, a Red Flag Warning remains for Brevard County, meaning that windand dry air have created perfect conditions for wild fires. There is also a Lake Wind Advisory in effectfor all of central Florida.
