PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - Prescott officials want the Yavapai County city to be considered as a site for one for federal testing of how to ingegrate unmanned aircraft into the nation's airspace.
That's despite some residents' concerns about privacy from unwanted surveillance.
The Daily Courier reports that the City Council approved an agreement with the Arizona Commerce Authority to participate in a pitch for selection as 1 of the six planned test sites nationally.
Mayor Marlin Kuykendall says it'd be a great industry for the area.
