PHOENIX -

Federal agents are detaining people at a suspected drop house for illegal immigrants at a condominium project near 39th Avenue and Camelback Road.

Unmarked Immigration and Customs Enforcement vans were seen in the area, along with agents taking people into custody Tuesday morning.

Drop houses are places were illegal immigrants are taken, sometimes against their will, after they're smuggled into the country.

In this situation, it's unknown if the people were being held against their will or if they were just hiding out.

This is a developing story.  Stay with FOX 10 News for updates.
