Royal Caribbean's 'Enchantment of the Seas' docks in Port Canaveral

There's a new ship in town.

Royal Caribbean docked its "Enchantment of the Seas" for the first time in Central Florida on Thursday.  She not only has a new home, but she also has a new look.

Enchantment is the first ship the company brought to Port Canaveral in four years. The ship was previously docked in Baltimore.  Enchantment now offers guests three and four day cruises from Brevard County to the Bahamas.

She made her maiden voyage in 1997, but had a little work done last December.

Enchantment was recently refurbished with a host of new features, including several new restaurants, lounges, and bars, 11 pools or whirlpools, an expanded nursery that accepts little ones who are six months to three years old.

"Our moms and dads can simply take them to our programs," said Cruise Director John Blair. "Check them in, and while they go out and have fun in the casino, they know their children are safe, they're secure, they're having a terrific time."

Guests young and old can also enjoy four bungee trampolines and a rock-climbing wall.

A spokesperson said the cruise was fully booked with at least 2,400 people on board.
