NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The man charged in a home invasion and beating in Millburn, NJ., that were captured on a nanny cam has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder, robbery, burglary and child endangerment.

Shawn Custis, 42,  was ordered held Tuesday on $750,000 bail. He was arrested Friday in Manhattan.

The June 21 attack was captured on a hidden camera in the unnamed victim's home.

A man can be seen bursting into the home, punching and kicking the woman and throwing her down the stairs while her 3-year-old daughter cowered on a couch.

I knew that if I started to scream my daughter would too and I was afraid he would shoot at her. I took it and I didn't cry the entire time," the unnamed victim told News 12. "They need to help us get him off the street. He's not just a burglar, he's violent."

She suffered a concussion and was hospitalized before being released, according to News 12.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
