NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is making an effort to reach out to the community about the Second Avenue subway construction by opening a community information center.

The MTA hopes that the information center will help answer the questions and concerns of those who live and work around the area who have had to endure then noise, the dust, the traffic and blasting, which, by the way, has been completed.

Along with that, the muck houses, that filtered all the dust and debris, are now being taken down.
