ATLANTA -

Atlanta police gave the all-clear Tuesday morning following an evacuation at a downtown building.  Officers say the Equitable Building, located at 100 Peachtree Street, was evacuated after a caller reported that there was a bomb inside a package there.

Shortly after 9 a.m., police confirmed that conditions were safe for people to return to the building, which is comprised of more than 30 floors. The evacuation lasted for about an hour.

Atlanta fire crews and K-9 unites responded and no chemicals or explosive devices were found.
