Woman Arrested For Suspected Pepper Spray Assault On Ex-Boyfriend

NEWARK, Del. -

According to the Newark Police Department, 20 year old Corinna Watson has turned herself in after she used pepper spray to attack her ex-boyfriend a few nights ago.

The attack happened on August 23rd at 3:00 a.m., according to officers. Investigators say that Corinna banged on the door of the residence where her ex-boyfriend was staying, and then allegedly sprayed him with pepper spray when he opened the door. The pepper spray also hit a nine year old girl who had run downstairs when she heard commotion, according to police.

Officers say that Corinna fled the area by the time they came. She finally turned herself in on Monday, August 26th. Her ex-boyfriend and the little girl where both treated by EMS on the scene.
