The victim of a brutal murder in Marion County has been identified.
Detectives said Stanley Yassen, 74, died a violent death inside his Ocklawaha home sometime around noon on Wednesday. Detectives have said there is no appearance of a forced entry into the home, which has led them to believe Yassen may have known his attackers.
The manner of death has not been released, but investigators said that it was likely there was "extensive blood transfer" onto the clothing or vehicle of anyone involved.
Detectives are asking anyone who may have seen someone wearing blood-stained clothing on Wednesday to contact them.
