Man who conducted first interview after Debra Milke's arrest says she's innocent

PHOENIX -

From day one she maintained her innocence. Detective Armando Saldate said he had obtained a confession. But Debra Milke says she never confessed.

The detective's credibility eventually was brought into question and a judge decided to toss out that alleged confession, making her a free woman.

We're now hearing from the man who spoke to Milke just hours after her arrest – Paul Huebl, a former investigative producer and private investigator.

He interviewed her just two hours after the confession had supposedly taken place.

FOX 10's Troy Hayden talked with Huebl one on one in our news studio.
