Cheating is no longer the number one reason couples are getting divorced.

According to new research by Cooperative Legal Services, most couples today blame their breakup on unreasonable behavior.

The study looked at trends from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s. Whereas unreasonable behavior used to be cited in 28% of divorce cases in the 70s. It's up to 47% now.

What's "unreasonable behavior?" that includes things such as a husband making his wife feel guilty for going out with her friends because he's not sociable or a spouse taking money from the family savings.

Researchers found only 15% of couples break up over an extramarital affair, down from 29% in the 70s.
