Updated:

PHOENIX (AP) - Republican candidates for governor are meeting at a candidate forum Thursday evening sponsored by the Maricopa County Republican Committee.

Committee chairman A.J. LaFaro says all six Republicans who have announced for the race will attend. They'll each make opening and closing statements and answer questions posed by the county GOP's executive council.

The forum at GOP headquarters in Phoenix is only open to Republicans. It is set to last 90 minutes with an hour set aside for questions.

Candidates set to attend include Ken Bennett, Doug Ducey, Christine Jones, Al Melvin, John Molina and Andrew Thomas.

Next year's primary election is set for August 26.
