PERRY, Ga. (AP) - Georgia Department of Agriculture and Georgia National Fair officials say this year's state fair will include a new 20,000 square-foot building featuring Georgia products, manufacturers and businesses.

Organizers say the Georgia National Fair runs Oct. 3-13 in Perry.

Officials say the new Georgia Grown Building will feature a retail consignment shop comprised of goods being supplied from more than 50 vendors throughout the state.

Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter Executive Director Randy Moore says more than 445,000 visitors came to the Georgia National Fair in 2012.
