FBI searches for Mesa bank robbery suspect

MESA, Ariz. - The FBI is asking for your help in finding a suspect accused of robbing a Chase Bank near Baseline Road and Country Club Drive.

Authorities say on Oct. 1st, the suspect entered the Fry's grocery store and proceeded to the bank inside.  The suspect approached a teller and presented a note which indicated a robbery and demanded all of the money in the drawer.

The teller complied and gave the suspect a known quantity of U.S. currency and he fled the scene.

The suspect is described as an unshaven white male, 6' 1" to 6' 2" tall, 32 to 33-years-old and 180 - 190 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a camouflage baseball cap, black sunglasses with a chrome insignia on the sides of the frames, a black or charcoal colored zip up jacket, and blue jeans.  He was carrying a black zip up travel bag.
