Blind Dog And His Guide Dog On 'Good Day'

Blind Dog And His Guide On 'Good Day'

PHILADELPHIA -

Two really special pair of dogs visited the Good Day studio on October 21st. One dog is blind, and the other is his guide dog!

When FOX 29 heard about Jeffrey and Jermaine and their need for a home, we couldn't wait until our "FOX Fursday" segment to get their story out there.

Therefore, the doggie duo were invited to brighten up everyone's Monday.

Jeffrey is the blind dog. Jermaine is his brother. Jeffrey uses Jermaine as his guide dog. Since they were found on the streets, Jermaine has never left Jeffrey's side because he looks after his blind brother.

Ray Little from Operation Ava brought the two dogs in and introduced them. Operation Ava is a non-profit that rescues animals and finds them a home. According to Little, the adoption fee has been donated, so it will be an opportunity for the two dogs to be adopted together.

For more information, visit Operation Ava's website or its Facebook page.

Update, the two dogs have since been updated. Read the story here.
