Coach Fired After Attacking Player On Facebook

EAST SIDE, IN -

Pee wee football is supposed to be fun. It allows kids a chance to learn the game early on, without a lot of pressure.

However, it was not so for one boy in Indiana. He was being bullied by his own coach.

"I'm not gonna let some 40-something year old man sit there and bully an eight-year-old child," mom Sarah said. "It's childish, it's immature and it makes me sick."

So what would you do if your son was being taunted by the coach and it was even on the field? Well, the mother confronted the coach, but that only made the problem worse.

The incident then unfolded on Facebook.

After the parents of the eight-year-old player went to the coach and spoke to him about how he treated their son, they say that the coach posted comments on social media that demeaned and degraded their son.

Surprised and incensed, the parents then went to the league and demanded action. That post has since been deleted and the coach has been fired and banned from the park.

"We just don't condone that kind of behavior at all, you know, c'mon this is pee wee football," said Bill Daniels, the league president.

The mom in this case wants other parents to pay attention to coaching, especially when it comes to younger kids. To speak up if something's not right. That coach has actually been banned from the park. The mom says that she's glad the pee wee league took action.
